There's also the TBC enchant Enchant Chest - Major Spirit worth considering.
Yes that's also a nice option since it should scale with raid buffs and talents instead of a fixed MP5 value.
I'm not sure of the math though so I can't say what amount of mana regen 15 spirit would amount to.
