I've found a new amazing song for raiding: Mr. Brightside (Jaques Lucont's Thin White Duke Remix). I've listened a lot to the Killers before but this mix has a more electronic sound to it which I like a lot. I love how it sounds all upbeat and happy while the lyrics are completely heart wrenching. Thanks to this incredible beat we managed to down Al'ar on our second night of trying him!
There might have been other reasons such as everyone in the guild doing a great job of preparing and focusing on the raids and being quick learners but the song is of course a big part of the success! ;)
We then continued to defeat Void Reaver and Solarian after A'lar so that's 3/4 of Tempest Keep in one evening which I'm very happy about.
The trash on the way to Void Reaver can be a bit silly so sometimes you just have to leg it towards the entrance.
After getting Void Reaver down I got my first piece of tier 5 gear, the Nordrassil Life-Mantle!

Although I do not listen to music while raiding, since I share my play space with a tank too, I took your suggestion and listened to this song before raiding and have fallen in love. Just having it stuck in my head while raiding has made me so happy! Who knows, maybe The Killers and HoTs are a match made in heaven?
